Aside from all the learning, we had so much fun at The Big Event in January and we kept being asked, when is the next one. We thought a lot about what was most meaningful. The aspect that really stood out was spending time with all of our Go-Giver Friends and making new friends. As entrepreneurs and business owners we all work in our businesses a lot. What we need is an opportunity to get away and work on our business and ourselves — and do it with like-minded and like-hearted individuals.
It became clear that we needed to create The Go-Giver Retreat so we as entrepreneurs and business owners can get together and invest our time and energy to take our businesses and ourselves to the next level.

Colleen C. Barrett is President Emeritus of Southwest Airlines Co. Yes, that airline, which has thrived regardless of market trends. And she was known as the heart and soul of that airline. Colleen co-authored with Ken Blanchard the book Lead with LUV: A Different Way to Create Success. She shares her heart and soul…and her wisdom in terms of leading a team. You’ll want to soak up every single word of LUVing wisdom she shares with us.
Terry Brock was one of the pioneers of internet marketing in terms of understanding and teaching that marketing on the internet had less to do with technology than it did with relationships. As the creator of rCommerce (Relationship Commerce) he is my all time favorite expert in merging the wonders of technology with the power of creating relationships. Terry is entertaining, brilliant and one of life’s really good guys. You’re gonna’ love him.
Sally Hogshead is quickly becoming recognized as one of the world’s top authorities on branding. After hearing about her…well practically everywhere (the sign of a great brander) 
I picked up her book Fascinate and indeed I became fascinated. I knew she would be an exquisite addition to our line up. Prepare to laugh, learn and come away with some immediately applicable ideas for positioning your business more effectively…and profitably!
John David Mann is best known for his writing, and you might have even heard John in a few of our interviews. And you might remember his very eloquent and entertaining presentation of “The Go-Giver Annual Lifetime Achievement Award” to Dr. John Maxwell at The Big Event. John is also a very engaging speaker and we’ve asked him to share with all of us this time out; this time a full program that will allow you to tap into your ability to turn your passion into profit.
Mark Sanborn is a person I consider to be one of THE best presenters in the universe. He’s that good. He is also that wise. The author of the classic, The Fred Factor as well as numerous other books on leadership and customer service, his most recent book is Up, Down or Sideways. You will come away from Mark’s presentation with a new paradigm on what it means to lead, influence, inspire, entertain, and what it means to really live right.
Dondi Scumaci speaks and teaches on leadership and influence for some of the largest companies on the planet…all over the planet! You might have read her awesome book, Career Moves or even heard her on one of our many interviews. This woman is a combination of pure heart and pure wisdom (you can probably tell I kind of like her) . And you will love her presentation. You’ll also come away from it equipped to be a person of major influence.
Larry Winget is known worldwide as the “Pit Bull of Personal Development”.® Throughout his presentation you will alternate between laughing hysterically and having extreme moments of “ah-haaa!” Yes, he’s that type of speaker. He also pulls no punches and holds nothing back. Aside from reading one of his six bestselling books, you might have seen him on Fox News, CNN, PBS, or on his own show which he hosted on A&E.
Dixie Gillaspie developed The Go-Giver Success Accelerator course and she’s our Go-Giver Master Coach. She’ll be facilitating a Panel Discussion on Mastermind Best Practices during the event that you won’t want to miss. Known to many as “Dixie Dynamite”…she helps us “blast through” those walls that are holding us back.

Viveka von Rosen started using LinkedIn in 2006 when she saw a presentation on the opportunities of Business Networking with LinkedIn. Having doubled her own business with traditional, face-to-face networking, she saw the immense potential of an online networking site. Viveka is known internationally as the “LinkedIn Expert”, and speaks to business owners, corporations and associations on the benefits of marketing with social media, and in particular LinkedIn.
Terry Brock not only understands the technology of Social Media, but how to present yourself on it for the greatest effect and interpersonal connection. He uses video blogging in a way that is totally authentic and powerful and can provide you with specific advice on how you can do the same.
Bob Burg. I am thrilled to moderate this panel discussion on Saturday. And, while I have nowhere near the level of expertise as do our other three panelists, I can provide some insight from the viewpoint of a true technophobe. You’ll see that if I can learn to “do Social Media”…you can, too!
